Tour Itinerary

Day 1 – London (England)

Our England small group tour will start in the iconic city of London – a hub of rich history and culture. On our first night, we’ll gather for a delectable welcome dinner to get to know each other.

Accommodation: Tower Suites by Blue Orchid (or similar).

Day 2 – London – Chartwell House and Sissinghurst – Canterbury

Following breakfast, we’ll head to Chartwell House, the private home of Sir Winston Churchill. This red stone manor offers insight into 1930s family life through its library, sitting room, and study. Our next destination is the world-renowned Sissinghurst Castle and Gardens, created by Vita Sackville-West, a famous English poet and writer. The garden features a unique collection of old garden roses. After exploring the castle and gardens, we’ll move on to Canterbury, where we’ll have the evening at our leisure.

Day 3 – Canterbury – Kent Countryside and Coast – Maidstone

The day starts with a locally guided visit to the awe-inspiring Canterbury Cathedral, the oldest working church in England and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Next, we’ll venture into the charming Kent countryside, dotted with quaint villages and unspoiled coastal views. We’ll reconvene for a delicious included dinner, sharing our stories and photos from the day.

Accommodation: Leeds Castle (or similar).

Day 4 – Maidstone – Faversham and Whitstable – Maidstone

After a guided tour of Leeds Castle, where we’ll see areas below stairs and the grand bedrooms, we’ll visit Shepherd Neame Brewery in Faversham for a tour and beer tasting. We’ll end the day with a leisurely seaside stroll in Whitstable before returning to our cosy accommodation at Leeds Castle.

Day 5 – Maidstone – Tenterden – Rye

We’ll visit the historic Tenterden town overlooking the River Rother Valley, followed by a wine tasting at a local winery. The day’s final destination is the charming market town of Rye, where we’ll have free time to explore the Rye Heritage Centre and town centre.

Accommodation: The Mermaid Inn (or similar).

Day 6 – Rye – Dover – Rye

Our day starts with exploring Rye’s cobbled lanes and timber-clad houses before visiting Dover Castle, a fortress with centuries of history and breathtaking views from the Great Tower. We’ll have free time to explore Rye before our farewell dinner. Accommodation: The Mermaid Inn (or similar).

Day 7 – Rye – Hever Castle – London

Our last stop before returning to London is the enchanting Hever Castle, the childhood home of Anne Boleyn. Here, we can marvel at the antique furniture, books, and Tudor paintings. Finally, we’ll make our way back to London, bidding farewell to each other.
