Tour Itinerary
In the afternoon, you change driver-guide and pass along the beautiful coastline south of Cork before arriving in Kinsale. This charming little fishing village is your overnight stop, so you can take in the delights of the “gourmet capital of Ireland”, with its first-rate local restaurants and lively pubs. Savour your free evening whilst exploring the narrow streets and brightly coloured houses around your accommodation.
You have the morning to explore the attractions of Kilkenny on your own before heading north to the Wicklow Mountains. Be mesmerized by the National Park’s steep granite mountains and winding paths as you go to Glendalough, where a 6th-century monastery is located. Capture the perfect photograph of the verdant natural setting and the round tower of the monastery.
Later on, cross the famous Sally Gap in the centre of the National Park before descending a short distance back to Dublin.
NOTE: The itinerary’s estimated duration and travel distance are based on each day’s starting and ending points for direct routes. These estimates do not include possible detours or sightseeing stops. Actual journey times may vary due to traffic, road conditions, or unforeseen circumstances.
